This site is dedicated to the memory of Catherine (Whittemore) McArthur.
Elaine and Steven, her daughter and son, would like this memorial to be a place where we can celebrate her life and the immense love, joy and kindness she shared with everyone who knew her. You may have known her as Cathy, Cath or Renee but to us she was simply Mum and to her granddaughters, the most wonderful Nana. We think of her everyday and she is always with us, especially in Evie, Alice, Milla and Nellie. We love you.

Thoughts
It is 2020 and we are in the midst of the Coronavirus epidemic - I am pleased you did not have to live through this strange and scary time. In the middle of it all, your grand daughter working on the front line at the NHS. Alice is so brave - she makes us so immensely proud.
She and Matt are hoping to get married later this year - we have to look forward to happier times - you would have been so positive in this time. I love you and miss you Mum xx

Another year has gone and we miss you so much still. You are never very far from our thoughts and we talk often about all the wonderful times we had together and how much love and laughter there was whenever we were together. We all miss you and wish you were still here to see your four beautiful granddaughters growing up. They are truly the most amazing four girls and all so clever and talented and beautiful - an amazing legacy. Evie is at Oxford studying Fine Art and Alice is training at Leeds to become a midwife. Milla and Nellie are so bright and intelligent and funny and loveable. How proud you would be.
