Today I found this website and thought it would be a lovely idea to start a living memorial to mum. I know that she is so very much missed by everyone who knew and loved her and I hope that her friends and of course her family will perhaps feel they can add to this memorial and share their memories with me. As mother's day approaches, the pain of losing her is still so raw that it is hard to find words to describe how sad and difficult life is without her. I am so lucky to have my lovely family, my two amazing daughters and my husband Wes and of course my extended family, but her absence is and will always feel like a huge hole in our lives. Her love for us, Steven, my brother, and I and her grandchildren, knew no bounds and I know that she would have wanted us all to remember her with love and joy. And so here, that is exactly what I intend to do. I would appreciate any thoughts and memories you may have of mum, and of course any photographs you may wish to share. I will cherish them all and of course, please let all of her friends know about this site. It would be lovely to share all our happy memories as a fitting tribute to someone we all loved and continue to love so much. Elaine x
