Mum was a huge fan of musical theatre and loved to go to shows - Les Miserables was one of her favourites, hence the music on this site. She even trod the boards herself at school playing the lead role in The Snow Queen. One of our last days spent together was at Easter when we went to the the Royal Opera House. I had managed to get hold of tickets for a show in aid of the Tsumani victims, featuring Darcy Bussell. Mum wept when I led her into the foyer at the theatre - she said she had always wanted to go to the ballet but had never had the chance. It was a beautiful and moving night.
