Mum had a life long love of animals and we had them all - dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, ponies, donkeys, mice, goldfish and yes, more rabbits. She particularly loved Treacle, the cat we bought her for her 50th birthday and of course the fierce and independent Lily who hissed and spat at everyone (even Mum at times). Lily is happily ensconced with friends of ours who had lost their cat and is still biting and spiting at them, too.
